This is the new version of our Medium ELENA Convertible Day Bag. It has all the things you love from the old version, only it has been improved. It now has the ability to open up wider, allowing you to fit more inside, even a 13” computer! We also made the bag lighter and the handles longer so you can wear it over your shoulder. This bag is great for a carry-on or your everyday medium bag. We love using it for our medium-sized work-day bag because it effortlessly transitions to be any kind of bag we need during the day.
The Elena is the same as the GABRIELLA Convertible Day Bag but in a slightly smaller size.
All of our Elena Medium Convertible Day Bags are handmade in Guatemala with full-grain leather and a vintage huipil. A huipil is a traditional shirt woven on a backstrap loom by a female weaver. Each huipil has been previously worn and cherished by an indigenous woman, and after it has lived a long life, it is upcycled into a unique and beautiful part of each bag.
