Each bag is handmade in Guatemala with full-grain leather and vintage huipil. Each huipil was created by a female weaver and has been previously worn and cherished by an indigenous woman. After having lived a long life, each pattern is upcycled into a stunning, eye-catching part of each bag.
The bag was crafted by our artisan partner Alfonso and his family in a small home workshop in Panajachel. The textile was sustainably sourced from Tomasa at the textile market in Panajachel. Your purchase supports the slow fashion movement and providing dignified job opportunities to indigenous artisans in Guatemala.
