Each of our Isabella Large Everyday Tote Bags are handmade in Guatemala with suede and vintage huipil. Each huipil has been previously worn and cherished by an indigenous woman, and after it has lived a long life, it is upcycled into a unique and beautiful part of each bag.
The Isabella Totes are crafted by our artisan partner, Alfonso and his family, in a small home workshop in Panajachel. The textile was sustainably sourced from Tomasa at the textile market in Panajachel. Your purchase supports the slow fashion movement and providing dignified job opportunities to indigenous artisans in Guatemala.
